Emergency Help

Unfortunately, Clear Horizons cannot provide emergency support. In the case of an emergency, please follow the help information below. Once the situation has stabilised and regular mental health services are appropriate, please feel free to book an appointment.

Is there an immediate threat to you, a family member or someone else?

Call the Police straight away on 000. Please make sure you give the emergency operator your exact location and the nature of the situation. Mental health crisis teams can assist you, but will need to work closely with the Police.

Is someone hurt, or their physical health in immediate risk?

Immediately call for an Ambulance on 000. Please make sure you give the emergency operator your exact location, describe the situation, and list all medication or drugs the person may have taken in the past 24 hours. It is important to be truthful about the person's current physical state, their mental health history (if known) and if the person has taken too much medicine or any illegal drugs so the emergency services can help effectively.

Is someone in need of immediate mental health care?

Call the Mental Health Line on 1800 011 511 (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) or visit the Emergency Department of a local hospital.
